Reminders and Actions

Reminders & Actions are two features that work hand in hand with each other. You can use reminders and actions allow you to send out timed reminders to your staff team with an assigned actions.

Reminders

Melonly offers you to create reminders for your staff, this reminder feature enables your staff team to receive regular notifications at designated periods (in minutes) to perform specific actions. For instance, you can set up a reminder for your staff to make a particular announcement in-game every 10 minutes. These reminders can be posted in a Discord channel of your choosing to broadcast the message, ensuring your staff stays informed and ready to act. If you have the ER:LC API pack you can take this a step further and create automatic :m & :h announcements inside your ER:LC private server.

Creating a Reminder

To create an Reminder, Click on the Reminders & Actions tab and select Create new Reminder. Fill out the form with the information needed then press create. After creating the Reminder, you can always edit or delete it in the future.

ER:LC API Reminder

When creating a reminder you can select Post message in ER:LC, for this to be posted in your ER:LC server a user also has to be on shift.

Actions

Actions is what you want your staff team to perform in the designated periods, there are templates already set up for you in the Melonly Dashboard to get you started, we highly recommend you use the Reminders & Actions feature to advertise your awesome Discord server or let people know about certain rules that you want others to be aware of!

Creating a Action

To create an Action, Click on the Reminders & Actions tab and select Actions. You can either select a template or you can create one from scratch. After creating the Action, you can always edit or delete it in the future.
