What is an Appeal?

An appeal asks a server’s staff to take another look at an infraction or suspension. If they approve it, it’s voided and its points no longer count. You can appeal anything that hasn’t been voided or expired, if the server accepts appeals.

Submitting an Appeal

1

Find the infraction

Open Infractions, pick the server, and click Appeal (or Appeal Suspension) on the row.
2

Check the details

The top of the page shows who issued it, when, the reason and the points.
3

Answer the questions

Fill in the server’s appeal form. Questions marked with an asterisk are required.
4

Submit

Click Submit appeal.
You can only have one pending appeal per infraction.

After You Submit

Your appeal shows as pending until staff review it. Melonly DMs you when it’s reviewed if Receive DMs for Infractions is on in Account Settings. Open the appeal again to see who reviewed it and their response.

Appealing Again

If your appeal was denied and the server allows re-appeals, click Appeal again. Servers can set a cooldown, counted from when your last appeal was reviewed. The button unlocks once it’s over.
