Does Melonly have a Discord Bot?Yes, Melonly has a Discord Bot! You can invite it here. The bot allows discord servers to link to Melonly server for roles, nicknames and channel integrations!
Is Melonly a paid service?Melonly offers a free tier and a paid tier called Melonly Plus.
How do I import my existing moderation logs?To migrate your existing data from ERM or Trident to Melonly, use this guide here about Switching to Melonly.
How can I become a staff member for Melonly?Melonly seeks individuals aged 16 years and above to join the Staff team. If you’re interested in becoming a staff member, you can apply through the link in the ⁠news channel.
Does Melonly have a Public API?Yes, Melonly does have a Public API, default ratelimit is 100 requests a month. Servers with Melonly Plus can enjoy Unlimited Requests.

“Your server is already linked to another server”This means your Discord server is already linked to a different Melonly server. Run the /unlink command in your Discord server to resolve this.
My log says “Could not find user / Unknown User”This indicates the user who created the log is no longer registered with Melonly or has not signed up yet. The issue can only be resolved if the user creates a Melonly account.
Melonly is missing permissionsEnsure the Melonly bot has View Channel and Send Messages permissions in the selected log channel, then save the channel again.
Why don’t I see anything in the “types” field on the moderator panel?You do not currently have permissions for any log types. Ask a server administrator to update your roles and permissions.
How can I get a player’s ID from autocomplete?When entering a valid username, click the avatar shown on the right side of the input to copy the player’s ID.
How do I set up commands with the Discord bot?Follow the setup guide here.
Can the bot and moderator panel be used at the same time?Yes, both can be used simultaneously.
How do I force-end another staff member’s shift?Staff members with the Manage Shifts permission can click another staff member’s avatar on the moderator panel to end their shift or break.
Why does my shift keep ending automatically?If you’re using the web moderator panel, “End shift on disconnect” may be enabled. Shifts also end automatically if ER:LC shift features are enabled and you leave the game. If this continues while you are in-game, ensure your Roblox account is linked here.
Why isn’t Melonly changing my nickname or managing roles?Discord bots cannot modify the server owner’s nickname. Additionally, Melonly’s role must be higher in the role hierarchy than the target user.
My Discord server icon isn’t updatingPlease press the “Sync from Discord” button in server settings.
My Discord server name isn’t updatingServer name changes may take up to 5 hours to sync across the dashboard and verification posts. Unlinking and relinking will not force an immediate update.
How can I change my server icon?The server icon automatically syncs with Discord and may take a few hours to update.
The Melonly Affiliate Program recognizes servers that actively use and support Melonly.Requirements:
  • One representative must submit the application (preferably the server owner)
  • At least 2 months of Melonly usage
  • Minimum of 5,000 Discord members
  • At least 20 staff members on Melonly
  • A good reputation within the ER:LC community

The Verified Server Program allows eligible servers in the Melonly Server Directory to gain increased credibility, recognition, and visibility.Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3,000 Discord members
  • Regular ER:LC sessions
  • Server must be at least 30 days old
  • Compliance with Melonly, PRC, and Discord Terms of Service
  • Minimum 4-star rating (at least 70 reviews from non-staff members)
  • At least 2 months of Melonly usage
  • High-quality roleplay standards
