What is Manage LOA?

A leave of absence (LOA) tells a server or department you’ll be away for a while. Manage LOA lists every server and department you’re in. Pick one to request or manage your LOA there. Each server or department handles LOAs separately, with its own rules.

Requesting an LOA

1

Pick the server or department

Open Manage LOA and click the server or department.
2

Fill in the form

Add a Reason (up to 1024 characters), choose a Start Type and set the dates.
3

Submit

Click Submit request. Administrators review it and you’ll see the result here.
Servers can set a minimum and maximum LOA length, and a cooldown between requests. If you’re on cooldown, the page tells you when you can request again. You can only have one LOA in progress at a time.

While Your LOA is Pending

Your request shows as awaiting review. Click Cancel request to withdraw it. If it’s accepted with a future start date, it shows as planned to start. Click Start LOA now to begin it early.

During Your LOA

You can have one extension request pending at a time. While it’s pending you can cancel it. Click View history under Extension Requests to see past extensions and whether they were approved or denied.

Leave History

Your past LOAs are listed under Leave History. Expand one to see its timeline: when you submitted it, who reviewed it, when it started and ended, and any extensions.
