Debugging Issue Resolution ”Your server is already linked to another server” Your Discord server is already linked to a different Melonly server. Run /unlink in Discord to resolve. Log shows “Could not find user / Unknown User” The user who created the log isn’t registered with Melonly. They need to create an account to fix it. Melonly is missing permissions Give the bot View Channel and Send Messages in the log channel, then save the channel again. No log types appear in the moderator panel You don’t have permissions for any log types. Ask an admin to update your role. How do I get a player’s ID from autocomplete? When entering a valid username, click the avatar on the right side of the input to copy the ID. How do I set up commands with the Discord bot? Follow the Discord bot setup guide . Can the bot and moderator panel run at the same time? Yes. How do I force-end another staff member’s shift? With the Manage Shifts permission, click their avatar on the moderator panel to end their shift or break. Why does my shift keep ending automatically? ”End shift on disconnect” may be enabled on the web panel. Shifts also end when you leave the ER:LC server if ER:LC shift features are on. Bots can’t change the server owner’s nickname, and Melonly’s role must sit above the target user in the hierarchy. Why is my form not showing accept or deny buttons? Open the form settings and set Form Type to Application . Accept and deny buttons only appear on application forms. My Discord server icon isn’t updating Press Sync from Discord in server settings. My Discord server name isn’t updating Name changes can take up to 5 hours to sync. Unlinking and relinking won’t speed this up.
