Run is the primary way officers and dispatchers look up people, vehicles, and licences. It shows identity, registration, warrants, and flags in one window so you can decide what to do next without opening a full record first. The older lookup tool is now Record Search. Use it when you need to find an internal record or report by ID, custom search index, or other stored fields.

Open a run

Recent runs are saved in Run History (clock icon in the window title bar). Click an entry to reload it, or clear the list when you are done.

Vehicle, name, and licence

The Run window has three tabs. Search on one tab, then jump to related results without starting over.
Search by plate. Results include:If the plate is not on file during a traffic stop, you can still create the call with Create Traffic Stop (Invalid Plate).
Flags on a hit play a tone and a TTS announcement. Expired, suspended, and revoked licences, and expired or cancelled registrations, are yellow warnings. They show for the unit that ran them and do not notify dispatch. Warrants and custom flags stay red alerts. On the Police panel, red alerts are also sent to dispatch. Record Search is for internal records and reports — arrest reports, warrants, BOLOs, custom templates, and anything you configured a search index for. Admins: see Record mappings for how matchers and Search fill work. Open it from:
  • The Record Search quick action (star / favourites bar)
  • Quick Lookup keybind in Preferences
  • Send Lookup on a unit or call, when you need to push a record result to someone
Use Advanced matching (starts with, partial, or exact) when a simple search is too broad.
Run answers “who is this person / vehicle / licence?” Record Search answers “where is this report or record in the CAD?”

Licence scanner

Officers using the Melonly desktop app can scan a licence shown in Roblox and open Run with the matching civilian.

Set a keybind

Open Preferences from the Melonly CAD logo menu. Under Keybinds, set Scan License. This option only appears in the desktop app.

Show the licence in-game

Open Roblox and display the licence on screen.

Press the keybind

Melonly captures the Roblox window, reads the licence, and opens a Run window titled Scanned Licence if a match is found.
The scanner needs the Melonly desktop app and screen-recording permission. It will fail if Roblox is not open, no licence is visible, the player has no linked Melonly account, or they have not selected a civilian in this CAD.
