Dispatch Panel

The Dispatch panel is where dispatchers coordinate units, manage calls, and run dispatch-specific tools — the tone board, signal manager, timers, and live map.

Create a dispatcher unit

Open Add Unit

Click Select Unit → Add Unit.

Fill in the details

Set unit number, name, rank, agency, and subdivision.

Create Unit

Click Create Unit.

Manage units

Click the unit info button in the top-right. Use the kebab (⋮) to edit or delete a unit.

The Dispatch homepage shows several main cards. Detach, reattach, or pin them to any side.

New dispatch

Create a new call from scratch.

Active units

Every unit currently connected. Click a callsign for actions:

Action	Description
Set Status	Available, Unavailable, Busy, Enroute, On Scene
View Bodycam	Live video feed
Add to Group	Add to a unit group
Add to Call	Attach to a call
Add to Timer	Start a countdown
Tone Board	Play tones
Send Lookup / Record	Send results to the unit
Toggle Panic	Activate panic
Kick	Disconnect from the CAD

Active unit groups

Groups currently active. Click a group for actions:

Action	Description
Set Status	Sets all members to a status
Disband Group	Remove the group
Add to Call	Attach the whole group to a call
Send Lookup / Record	Send results to all members

Calls

All Pending, Active, and Closed calls. Toggle layout for standard or grid view.

Call merging

Topic	Description
What happens on merge	Units reassign to the destination call, notes merge with `[MERGED]` prefix, source call closes
Notifications	Assigned units get a CAD alert plus a TTS notification
How to merge	Use the context menu, drag and drop, or select multiple calls with checkboxes

Actions

Open the actions menu by clicking the Melonly CAD logo in the bottom-left.

Action	Description
Leave	Returns to the CAD homepage with no server selected
Switch Panel	Returns to the CAD homepage with the current server still selected
Preferences	Configure audio, keybinds, and radio
Enter Fullscreen	Toggle fullscreen
Information	View Penal Codes and 10-Codes
Notepad	On-the-fly notes

Dispatch tools

Tool	Description
Tone Board	Play singular or stacking tones to selected units, agencies, or panels
Signal Manager	Set signals (e.g. Signal 100) globally
Timers	Create timers tied to calls or units
Live Map	Open the live map for unit and call coordination

Lookup

Search Names, Vehicles, Licenses, Identifiers, or any specific Record ID. Advanced mode supports start-with, partial, or exact matches.

Records

View Warrants and BOLOs, create new records, and pull call info by incident number. Includes a Supervisor Centre and a My Files tab.

Drafts

Return to records you started but didn’t finish.

Radio

Voice channels that work like Discord. Join from the Radio icon in the bottom-right.

Quick Transmit Keybind	Push-to-Talk
Mute / Deafen	Standard mute and deafen
Leave	Disconnect from the channel
