Regionality

What is Regionality?

Regional Words match the CAD’s wording to your region. Officers, dispatchers and civilians all see your terms, so names in these docs (911, 10-Codes, Penal Code, DMV, $) may look different on your server.

Open Customization → Regionality in the CAD admin panel. Changes are kept as a draft until you click Save Changes (Ctrl + S).

Setting Your Region

Apply a preset

Pick your country under Apply Preset to fill most fields in one go.

Check the fields

Tweak anything you like. An empty field goes back to its default. Presets don’t change the timezone or non-emergency number, so set those yourself.

Save

Click Save Changes. Everyone sees the new terms straight away.

Some presets fill an emergency number longer than 6 characters, so shorten it before saving.

Settings

Setting	Default	Description
Timezone	Eastern Time (ET)	Every date and time in the CAD is shown in this timezone.
Emergency Number	911	Used on the civilian call button, call window and radio channel. Up to 6 characters, ending in a digit.
Non-Emergency Number	311	Used for non-emergency calls. Up to 6 digits.
Currency Symbol	$	Shown in front of every fine, bond, surcharge and price. Up to 3 characters.
Ten-Codes	10-Codes	What the code list is called in menus.
Criminal Code Term	Penal Code	What your list of acts and charges is called.
DMV Name	Motor Vehicles Division	The name of your DMV.
Transportation Authority	Liberty County Transportation Authority	The name of your transport authority.
Speed Units	MPH	Used on speeding charges, licences and PDFs.
