What are Charges?
Charges are the offences on a record, picked from your server’s Penal Code. Each one can carry a fine, jail time, a bond, licence points or a suspension. Fines, jail time and bonds go to the first civilian named on the record. Points and suspensions go to the first licence number.Adding a Charge
Click Add charge to add a row, then pick a charge from the list. Search by code or name. Admins can limit each charges section to certain acts or types, set a minimum and maximum number of charges, or make it list-only so values can’t be changed. At the maximum, you can duplicate the record to keep adding charges.Speeding
Picking a speeding charge asks for the zone and speed. The charge name, fine and points are worked out from your server’s speeding classes. Some templates also have a Speed section for radar source, direction, position and lane.Charges Summary
The summary adds up fines (times counts), surcharges, jail days, points and bond. For suspensions it uses the single longest one rather than adding them.Licence Suspension Section
Pick a suspension charge and the code, act, duration and points fill in. When the record is filed, the suspension is applied to the licence matching the first licence number, and the section locks. To suspend a licence without writing a record, see Suspending a Licence.Need help?
