The Channels tab lists every radio channel in your department.
Once you pick a mode, additional FX options appear to fine-tune the audio.
Create a channel
Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Display name in the CAD radio window |
| Frequency | Radio frequency (e.g. 670) |
| Mode | FM or AM |
| Group | The group this channel belongs to |
| Panel | Which panel the channel appears on — POLICE, EMS, FIRE, etc. |
| Agencies | Which agencies have access |
Mode and special FX
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| FM | Best for most channels. Clearer voice, less perceived noise |
| AM | Classic radio sound. More static and roughness |
Edit or delete
Click the pencil icon to edit a channel, or the red trash icon to delete it.Need help?
