What is Self Dispatching?

Self dispatching lets you create, edit and end your own calls without a dispatcher. It’s handy when no dispatcher is online, or for calls you start yourself like patrols and traffic stops.
Needs Self Dispatching turned on in Config, or the panel’s supervisor permission.

Creating a Call

1

Turn on Self Dispatch

Click Self Dispatch in the top bar. Your call card becomes editable.
2

Fill in the call

With no current call, a new one opens filled in with your unit and location. Add a Call Title and anything else you need.
3

Create it

Click Create Call.
On a call, you can Save changes or End Call. By default, a call closes automatically when its last unit leaves.

What You Can Do

Call Fields

Saved Call Templates

Save calls you make often. Fill in the form and click the save icon next to Saved Call Templates, then pick it from the list next time. You can keep up to 50, and they follow your account across devices. They also work with the NEW and SI commands in the Command Bar.
